By purchasing or using any file from Original ECU Files (originalecufiles.com, “we”), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use this service.
1. Service Description
Original ECU Files provides original (stock) ECU calibration files extracted from electronic control units. Files are sold individually and delivered via email after payment confirmation.
2. Delivery
After payment confirmation, a download link is sent to the email address provided at checkout. Delivery is normally completed shortly after payment; delivery times may vary depending on order volume. If you have not received your file within 24 hours, contact us at the address in Section 12 with your order reference.
3. File Disclaimer
All files are provided “AS IS” in their raw extracted format, without any form of warranty, express or implied. File size and memory layout may vary depending on the original read method. No guarantee is made regarding compatibility with specific tools, EPROM programmers, or ECU hardware revisions. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to verify suitability before use.
4. No Support
No technical support, assistance, or guidance is provided with any file purchase. Files are delivered as raw data without documentation, instructions, or after-sale service of any kind.
5. Professional Use Only
Files are intended exclusively for professional automotive technicians, calibration engineers, and qualified ECU specialists. By purchasing a file, you confirm that you possess the technical knowledge required to handle ECU data safely and lawfully.
6. Buyer Responsibility
The buyer assumes full and sole responsibility for the use of any purchased file. Original ECU Files is not liable for any damage, malfunction, data loss, or any other consequence arising from the use or misuse of files obtained through this platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All manufacturer names, part numbers, and trademarks referenced on this website — including but not limited to Bosch, Siemens, Delphi, Denso, Continental, and Magneti Marelli — are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes. Original ECU Files is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any ECU or vehicle manufacturer.
8. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal
Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final: no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued once a file has been delivered. For consumers in the European Union: by completing the purchase you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, once delivery has begun.
9. License
Each purchase grants a single, non-transferable license for internal professional use. Redistribution, resale, or public sharing of files is strictly prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of this website is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the buyer’s country of residence.
11. Changes to Terms
Original ECU Files reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
